The Drive Thru - Freeport

TDT's french fries with a side cup of gravy to dip em in really hit the spot the day we stopped by.

My family and I decided to try out the drive-thru at this restaurant for the first time. We live about 20 minutes away. We ordered the cheeseburger combo to go, which came with Pepsi products. The to-go containers were awesome and kept our food super hot. When I arrived home, the fries and cheeseburger were still hot and tasted very good. We definitely plan on returning in the future and are excited to try their chicken, as we have heard it's amazing.

I don't like to leave negative reviews but I feel like I need to warn others. The burgers are terrible. I don't know what kind of meat that was but it tasted weird, has a strange texture and left a horrible after taste in our mouths in to the next day. Our stomachs didn't feel well after eating that. The fries were overdone yet still cold in the center. Unfortunately this is not the 50's drive up experience they advertise. There was nothing retro about this place. Infact, we didn't go back in time at all.We were in the Twilight Zone. The whole experience was strange.

12 piece chicken was great along with macaroni, mashed potatoes, and gravy. Best deal in town!
