Kitty's Purple Cow Cafe - Freeport

This is a wonderful casual restaurant located on the beach. I brought my children here for dinner because we were covered in sand, no matter how hard we tried to avoid it. The service was excellent and the food was fresh and plentiful. We ordered two seafood dishes, which included a stuffed crab that was delicious, fried fish, fried shrimp, and hush puppies. Everything was hot and fresh, and it seemed to be homemade despite some negative reviews I had read. My son had the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer, and it was very generous. The prices were very reasonable, especially compared to other similar restaurants nearby.

Prepare yourself for some fried, diner-style fare. Don't set your expectations too high, and you'll have a great time. The staff was playful and friendly, the ambiance was laid-back and noisy – perfect for families with kids. The food was reminiscent of home-cooked meals.
