Bgf Bobby Q's - Freeport

I really enjoy visiting Bobby's BBQ in Freeport. It's a family-owned and Black-owned business. They offer a $5 lunch special until 3 PM, which includes one meat and one side. They also make smoothies and sell alkaline water.

I dined there for the first time on Wednesday night and was very pleased with the experience. The fish and shrimp were cooked to perfection. The mac and cheese was excellent, complementing both the fish and shrimp beautifully. You won't be disappointed if you give them a try!

The service at this restaurant is exceptional! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious as well!

I was quite disappointed after trying this restaurant, especially since I had seen many positive reviews. I'm starting to wonder if the locals simply have low standards when it comes to good food. First off, the fries were stale and completely lacking in flavor—there wasn't even a hint of salt. They tasted like frozen grocery store items. The fish was equally underwhelming; it had no flavor, wasn’t crispy, and definitely didn’t taste fresh. I’m baffled at how a “soul food” establishment could mess up sweet yams. I strongly recommend avoiding this place—you'd be better off with a bagel and cream cheese. To the owners, you really need to improve.

Horrible food. Taste like Boxed galic mash potatoes and boxed shrimp. Horrible pork chops, not seasoned. String beans very undesirable. Catfish was so so, but i wouldn't buy any of it again. Complete waste of money except for the carrot cake and red velvet cake.
