Tommys Tavern Tap - Freehold

Being a European in the USA, I really miss places that have cozy modern space. This place is pretty, I liked it. We went at about 2pm and it was quite full but we were still given a table, no waiting. It is quite big inside. Food was great. We ordered two types of ribs (Asian and BBQ) and both were delicious. The Buffalo Chicken salad I had was the best I’ve tried since in USA. I finally tried fried pickles, and liked them too. The waiters were super fast, polite and very sweet.

Mothers Day 2022. Short wait for table. Had the pulled pork Mac n cheese and chicken pizza. Everyone was so nice and it was a great place to celebrate time with the Mrs and my daughter with her mom.

I went there twice in one week and the food was outstanding each time. The sushi is very fresh, we got ours as a starter. It was a little expensive but I thought worth it to be able to order sandwiches and pizza after. Second time we ordered lobster tacos off the summer specials menu to share as an appetizer but forgot to take pictures. Specialty drinks were so-so (jalapeño watermelon margarita left us desiring a bit more flavor, alcohol, and drink size in general) but our waiter was very knowledgeable about what was on tap to pair with our meals and let me sample a mango fruit beer because I didnt think i'd like it but wanted to try something new. (It was really good). There is extra seating around the bar, outdoor seating, and a combination of booths, bar height tables, and regular tables. The bathrooms are very clean. You can sign up for a rewards card too!

The food and beer was excellent! Service was great. My wife and I went on a Thursday night around 10pm and the place was mobbed! We still had good service and didn't wait for a table. Would highly recommend

Good place to watch sports and grab an awesome beet salad. The pizza, firecracker app, and desserts are also great. Can be a bit loud, but it's not so bad you can't have a conversation with your table.
