Leo's Lekeland - Fredrikstad

My little brother was at Leo's Lekeland in Fredrikstad at the weekend and was treated badly by employees at work. My little brother has a diagnosis where my parents took it up with an employee and tried to explain why he throws his socks off in the playground. The staff had no understanding and zero sympathy. They asked the family to leave the playground. This is very sad. Such experiences mean that people with a diagnosis are excluded and do not get the opportunity to be at the playground like other children. I hope Lekeland in future will be understanding for children with a diagnosis, rather than asking people to explain the place.

Cheap and good lean alternative. Here, children and adults can play together or relax in the cafe. Little to choose from on the menu, but..

There are many things for kids to do. They won't get bored for some hours. Ideal for parties. Parking place available.

Visited the playland today, Saturday at 2pm. It was absolutely crazy cold there!!! Even with a bubble jacket on I was freezing. The playground was full of people and I heard many adults complaining about how cold it was there. Absolutely freezing on the floor too. Considered claiming the money back and leaving soon after arrival. Endured for 2 hours for the sake of the child who was already intent on playing there. Then I was so frozen that I had almost no feeling in my hands and feet. Had to rush home to take a hot shower. Too few doers and understaffed. It took almost half an hour to get a chicken salad and pancakes. There was dirt and rubbish on the empty tables in the cafe. The clean tables were closed off. A horrible experience, so next time we'll go to the Eventyrfabrikken instead!
