Bistro Panpan - Frederiksberg

We ordered hot dog with fries and the pig dish. Food was ok, the dip sauce for the fries was very doll and tasteless, the pig was ok but not exciting. It is ok that prices are a bit high for what you get considering that you have close view of a panda while eating. However, we ordered beers to drink, the waitress asked if we wanted still or sparkling water also and it was not understood that any extra would be charged for this. We were however charged 80 ddk for a caraf with tap water which probablly been inte the fridge for some time, but nothing more. No ice or lemon or similar to justify the price. So we really felt a bit tricked by paying for water, which is even if you understtod that you pay for it, expensive. Therfore the rating goes to bottom.

Teriyaki ribeye ordered medium. Served well done. Bizarrely served with bernaise it’s on the menu like that ?! . Children lunch box not great. Had to download Horago app and then type in restaurant name to get menu despite been told just use QR code. Only saving grace was understanding and pleasant waitress. Why does everywhere in Copenhagen suddenly give a plastic pipette filled with some sauce as part of a meal?

A great place for lunch during or after a visit to Copenhagen ZOO. Spring rolls, asparagus, and the cod at our table all received good reviews by the family. The Panda Bajer (Beer) is an excellent IPA like Pale Ale.

Først of all, portion sides are very small and no side dishes are included! No warning from the waiter that that's how it is, either. When I ordered rice later it came in a tiny portion again and fridge cold. I don't know who likes could rise cold, but it's not me. Finishing your meal with one is terrible, erases any nice taste expreience one had before. The children's food is very good, though why not actually care about the adults, as well? And as the last comment, we paid 80 dkk for regular tap water. So all in all, a disappointing experience for me for a lot of money. (At least my kids were happy.
