Catfish Haven - Fredericksburg

Catfish haven is everything they expect from a southern catfish house. the pieces are striped, so I recommend ordering at least one more piece as they normally would or get all that they can eat. everything is reasonable. today's special was a land, the baked ribeye. I'll try that next time. the koleslaw, wels and hush puppies were very delicious. the seat was immediately and the restaurant is from the city center, so easy parking.

The food was delicious, the place was very clean and our waitress was great. steak had a good season and the filled krabbe had maisbrot in it!

There was hardly any people and they were giving us a hard time seating 11 of us even though there was plenty of room. Then took forever to bring drinks and didn?t give us straws or offer to take our order.

I live nearby and have dined at this restaurant a few times. The food was average, nothing remarkable. I decided to give it another try on a Tuesday night. The place was only about one-fourth full. I stood at the door waiting for a table for at least 5 minutes, but the staff completely ignored me. I eventually gave up and left, and only then did they finally acknowledge us. It was a terrible experience. I will never go back to this restaurant.
