Beans Greens - Fredericksburg

The Super Wally was tasty, Reuben just tasted nothing like a Reuben, cauliflower salad wasn’t anything special. Soup was the best part. Wrap portions are very small for $5 apiece. It’s too bad that healthy options are priced so high for many would-be healthy eaters. No wonder McDonald’s and other fast food is so popular for people on a budget. 2 tiny “wraps” more like a tortilla folded in half with a little filling, a little salad and a coffee cup of soup for $17! I ordered from an older menu and the wraps were $3 which is definitely more reasonable for what I got today. Bummer.

Had a great meal today. The food was tasty and fresh. I love there commitment to the environment and clean food. Was very impressed with both dishes we tried. We will be back!

Stopped at the Beans Greens food truck at the food truck park by our campground. I tried a vegan dish that was really good. Everything made to order when you order, so it takes a minute but it's worth it. The lady running the food truck was very nice and helpful. Try this even if you're not a vegetarian or vegan. I'm a meat eater and still thought this was delicious.

Great tomato soup! A nice break from heavier options.
