Sanctuary: Modern Kitchen - Frederick

I?d give these guys 1,000 stars if I could!! I cannot stress enough how incredibly happy I am with Sanctuary Modern Kitchen!!! These guys are true heroes! They are a 100% gluten free bakery who make the most delicious empanadas ever!! My best friend was diagnosed with Celiac a few years ago and all she wanted at her bridal shower was empanadas like the ones my mom used to make for her when she would come over. After searching online for a dedicated gluten free kitchen thatmade empanadas, Sanctuary came up, but they were an hour and a half away from where the shower was taking place. I took a shot and called them anyways to see if there was something we could do, and these guys pulled through big time!!! Theymet me half way and delivered the most delicious empanadas I could imagine in an extremely professional and orderly way: individually wrapped and in a cooler full of ice for the drive home. The empanadas were an absolute hit at the party,and everyone was shocked to hear that they were gluten free. Even my mom, the empanadas connoisseur, gave them her highly coveted seal of approval. Absolutely phenomenal! My friend actually actually screamed with delight when she saw themand couldn?t stop eating them. Thank you guys so so much!! You made her day and mine :

Amazing food! One of the best restaurants in Frederick! We went because my gf is gluten intolerant and have been searching for gluten-free restaurants in Frederick. This place is just delicious, gluten-free or not, it's just good! Food looks as good as it tastes and the staff is always so nice and friendly! Definitely a must visit!

Amazing!! I was diagnosed with celiac disease earlier this year and have been dying for a chicken sandwich. We drove from York, PA for lunch and it did not disappoint! The sandwiches and fries were excellent, and so were the cookies. They have a large selection of take home freezer items as well. I?m excited to try the chicken pot pie we got to take home. I would recommend this to anyone! It was great eating out and not worrying about getting sick.

Stopped in yesterday incidentally to see if they had dairy and soy free options and it DID NOT disappoint. I got a muffin, cookie, and chicken pot pie which I cooked tonight and it was all heavenly with not even a tiny bit of evidence on the taste end that it was gluten, dairy, and soy free. So so happy I found this place. I?ll be back. Worth the price and the chicken pot pie was loaded full.

I am so thankful I found this amazing place! The food is absolutely delicious. I bought a gluten free dairy free chicken pot pie chicken empanadas. They were out of this world! The best part is I didn?t tell my husband they were gluten dairy free. He ate them both loved them. He was so surprised afterwards when I told him! I can?t wait to go back and try more food. I highly recommend this place!
