Postgaarden - Fredericia

When booking a table for four I was asked to phone through our choice of main course as I was told that they were very busy that evening and we wanted to go to the theatre at a certain time but by 'preparing ' them we would have plenty of time to enjoy our dinner. It turned out, that when we arrived our choice of main meal was not known (no apology) and we waited half an hour for two soups and one hour for the main meal and had to really rush not an enjoyable experience …...

Pleasant enough, with a decor no doubt evolved over decades, 24/7 reception is a big plus, rooms rather fusty in appearance but comfortable and clean. Unmemorable.

We had booked the room at Hotel Postgården, it was a nice room, but the location of the hotel is not worth mentioning. There was a nice service on arrival and the car should also be written for free parking. Nice and helpful reception. For dinner we ordered space in the restauration, it was not the best place we got out for an open door, and very close to the neighbor table. It was super lamb really tasty and with delicious accessories.

We made a brief stop here for tea/coffee and Danish Pastry on a Group tour of Fredericia. The staff handled the large numbers well and the pastries were very good and very welcome. There was some delay in dealing with dietary requirements, which was a little surprising in such a large establishment. Overall, I would rate our short experience as Good rather than Very Good if this gategory was available on Tripadvisor

We have just completed an extended weekend from Friday to Sunday. The service was super, the staff were super friendly. Breakfast and dinner were super. But the room, no 33, was not ok. There were holes in the walls after things were taken down/moved. There were three lamps, a ceiling lamp and two transmitter lamps that could not be turned individually. We got started in the radiators and towel dryer Friday night, but Saturday night we couldn't get started in them, it seemed as everything was interrupted, so Sunday morning we got wet and cold bath towels : Øv.
