Contribuiți la feedbackAfter india myself I have always been stupid of Indian foods here in Australia, but I could not have been so wrong to doubt the quality and taste I bought. I was back to chennai when the food was in my mouth. it was wonderful and the people who served me with joy. I'll go back in any case.
We are relatiw new to mt eliza and have bought from another indian in baxter as it is near the fwy when we get out in the night. they close on a Tuesday night, so we thought we were going to let go. the samosa. were small, dry and hard. the butter chicken tastes tasteless as a load bought sauce. the rice was not in the bag we had to return for it. finally the garlic had and would not be a good one on it and it was also dry and hard. this order was $69 an expensive terrible farewell.
It had been a few years since I last dined at this restaurant due to its closure, but I decided to give it another try tonight. The food has greatly improved, and my husband and I both agreed that the cozy ambiance and Naan bread were amazing! We also enjoyed the chicken, lamb korma, and chicken korma dishes. Everything was delicious. The meal paired perfectly with a lovely rosé wine and dining outside at night was a great experience. We will definitely be returning soon and hopefully save room for dessert next time.
We ordered a family meal for pickup on the first weekend after lockdown, but we were disappointed with what we received. The pakoras were burnt and came in a greasy mess, the naan was also burnt, and the curry had no flavor. It was all so oily that most of it ended up in the trash. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
Delicious food at affordable prices. We dined with friends on a Wednesday evening and were impressed with the food and service. The curries were tasty, and the staff even took care of splitting the bill for us, which was a pleasant surprise. The fact that it is a BYO restaurant is an added bonus.
