The Lake Grill - Frankston

This place is super casual and I didn’t expect much. Maybe that’s why I’m giving a good review. The Cheeseburger and Onion rings were surprisingly very good!

This is a grill in connection with a fishing camp style resort place, it has good food, great service but it's a little bit country, a little more relaxed than some people enjoy but food great, service great, so a must do if you are there. We went for multiple times across our stay and everything that we had was good.Kid-friendliness: I always have a problem saying that a place is kid-friendly when it's connected to a bar, but I think because this is a resort it's also connected to a tackle/fishing shop the office for the campground that it would be okay to bring your kids in here for a meal. I don't think they necessarily have high chairs but their food options would work if you were little one was picky.

It breaks my heart to ever give a negative review for any of my locally owned businesses. Look we all know and love the marina. It's a staple in our little lake town and a treasure.That said the restaurant had recently added some additional hours so after a morning of fishing I decided to eat there with my kiddos. They had burgers and I had some BBQ.I didn't expect world class, award winning brisket and ribs, but what I got was entirely inedible. The brisket was dry, tough and had no flavor at all. The ribs were practically raw and mostly fat and connective tissue. Sadly we had to throw most of our plates away. I quietly gave my feedback to the management, but it doesn't seem they've made any changes to the food quality in 5 months

My wife and I stood at the counter to order food. For at least 15 minutes while the cashier was on her phone. Then she proceded to talk to other customers. Extremely rude. We walked out. This was after church on Sunday. We WILL NEVER BE back.....!!!
