Capo - Franklin Square

I ordered takeout on June 30, 2022, and specifically requested balsamic dressing. The order was confirmed correctly over the phone, but when I received it, the salad was at the bottom of the bag, so I couldn't check it at the time. In the future, we will make sure to unpack all our takeout items on the counter to ensure everything is accurate. This has happened before, and I'm sure it won't be the last time. It's quite frustrating... I'm relieved to see I'm not the only one leaving a one-star review for this place.

The portions are a bit small, especially with the meatballs—it's quite a challenge to get an extra one. They also never have the advertised beer or wine available. Other than that, the atmosphere and the food are fantastic!

I’ve ordered from this restaurant a few times, and the food has been just average. On one occasion, my order was incorrect, and another time, the food looked several days old. I decided to try dining in, thinking it might be different from takeout, but unfortunately, the food quality remained the same. As for cleanliness, the bathroom was incredibly unkempt; I’ve seen truck stop restrooms that were in better shape. Lastly, the man at the counter seemed to have an attitude, as if he was doing me a favor by preparing my meal. I wouldn't recommend this place.

This is one of the best restaurants I've been to. I visit regularly, and the staff is amazing, providing excellent service.

We started with generous family-sized portions of crispy fried calamari, which came with an incredible dipping sauce, and a beautiful antipasto platter. Make sure to try the AMAZING prosciutto-wrapped shrimp appetizer; the sauce is to die for! Also, the drunken chicken entrée, featuring vodka sauce and fresh mozzarella, was a highlight. And for those picky eaters, my son, who usually dislikes everything, claimed these were the best chicken fingers he's ever had! We finished our meal with the most delightful tiramisu dessert—I'm regretting not getting an extra one to take home! To top it all off, the bill was surprisingly affordable; I was expecting it to be much higher. I just had to take a moment to share this wonderful experience because you might not consider Capos for your next family dinner party, but you definitely should! Thank you, Capos—we will be back!
