Villari's Franklinville

I would describe this place as a neighborhood blue-collar bar, which is exactly my kind of spot. However, it can sometimes feel a bit cliquish among the regulars and bartenders, which might make newcomers feel uneasy. That said, my first visit was wonderful! They had $1 tacos and $2 ice-cold Coors Lights as specials. The food was delicious, the beer was cold, and the service was excellent. Most importantly, I felt welcomed and not like an outsider. I’ll definitely be returning!

My fiancée and I waited at the bar for about 8 to 10 minutes, but even though the bartender noticed us several times, she continued her conversation without acknowledging us. The waitress/bartender also passed by us a couple of times, chatting with the other bartender instead of attending to us. Ultimately, we left without being served and headed to Kavanagh's. This place has been steadily declining over the past few years. Save your time and skip it.

My favorite bar! We find ourselves going here about four times a week—it’s becoming a bit of a habit. Honestly, it’s often cheaper to eat here than to make food at home. Price per person: $1–10. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5.
