Sperry's Cool Springs - Franklin

We celebrated Fathers Day there recently and were very impressed. The place was very warm and welcoming. The staff was very attentive and the food was excellent. Our server was excellent. We started with the famous salad bar and ordered the Prime Rib and Bone-in Ribeye. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back.

My wife, son and daughter surprised me with a nice birthday dinner at Sperry's on Sunday. With the exception of our daughter, we had never been to this restaurant. Our experience was exceptional! We were greeted immediately and shown to our table. The restaurant is beautiful by the way. Our waitress, Lisa, took great care of us and answered any questions we had. She said Sperry's is known for their delicious steaks, but mentioned they offered crab cakes too and many customers have commented they were the best they had ever had. Being a long time crab cake lover, I gave them a try. Wow! They did not disappoint! The best I have had personally AND the two 4 ounce cakes, with a delicious sauce on top, were just the right amount. Usually, I am left wanting more! My wife, son and daughter all had the shrimp and grits and enjoyed them as well. Also, Sperry's has a very good salad bar, which we enjoyed. A young lady came out after we were finished with our dinner and took our picture, which was unexpected but very much appreciated. A few minutes later she came back and handed me a card with our photo and a birthday wish inside. Very nice and thoughtful! Lisa advised Sperry's wanted to give me a dessert in celebration of my birthday, so we tried the carrot cake, which was amazing and just enough for us all to try. All in all, we had a great experience and would recommend Sperry's to anyone regardless if it is a special occasion, or not. I hope to return soon and try one of their steaks! Hmm, Father's Day is coming up, isn't it?

Celebrated my husband’s birthday here and everything was top notch! We had a wonderful waitress (Lisa) who took excellent care of us and highly recommend the crab cakes. My husband ordered them and they were by far the best ones he’s ever had. They even took our picture and gave it to us in a cute frame, so that was unexpected and a nice touch! I highly recommend and we will be back!

3.5 The hour we spent at the bar waiting for our reservation was pleasant. The service once we finally got to our table was standard/okay. The meal was alright. I've heard wonderful things but I didn't get to experience them. Honestly, I wasn't even going to leave a review since I didn't have anything nice to say but Google keeps asking me to, so here it is

This restaurant is awesome. I made reservations for my wife’s birthday. When we arrived they had no reservations in our name. One of the hosts worked to find them and the other host called the Belle Meade location to see if I mistakenly reserved there. (none found) They both worked together to find a table for us. Our waiter Trent was great. I had prime rib and my wife had a bacon cheeseburger. Best service around. Go eat there!
