Sal's Family Pizza - Franklin

Sals offers the best pizza we've discovered in Nashville. The staff is fantastic, and the service is excellent—definitely a great family-friendly restaurant.

The meatballs were tasty, but the eggplant parmesan was burnt and overcooked.

I would describe this restaurant as an example of New York pizza, but my experience with the food was disappointing. I ordered the chicken parmesan, and the only thing I enjoyed was the spaghetti. The chicken tasted like a frozen patty from a box store rather than a fresh cutlet.

This is a NYC style pizza joint with great pasta dishes, subs, etc., too. Really good, not very big, perfect for groups. Great food, great service, not expensive.

Excellent pizza!! Great service! Fun time! We will be back.
