Sakura Japanese Resturant - Franklin

Almost all of the tables were full, which is a great sign for a random Wednesday night. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles), egg rolls, and a Thai iced tea. The main dish had a great flavor to it, with enough spice to give it a kick but not so overwhelming that you couldn't eat it. I ended up asking for a little extra chili oil to amp it up a bit, but that's just personal preference for heat. The only downside to it is that the noodles really stuck together and ended up slightly gummy because of it. It was a large portion for the price, and I could have gotten two meals out of it. They accidentally brought me steamed gyoza instead of the egg rolls, but charged me the lower price of the egg rolls so it all worked out. Gyoza was pretty typical, nothing to specifically go back for, but not something to avoid either. The Thai iced tea was a bit sweeter than I'm used to, but still worth the money. Overall I would absolutely go back and try other dishes. Several tables were ordering sushi and the rolls looked good. Staff/owners were also extremely friendly and you could see they cared about their customers.

I stopped by for lunch after a long day at work. My order consist of the pick 3 sushi . The rock n roll, Boston roll, and Philadelphia roll with a glass of water. First off, I have been to several places in middle Tennessee that serves sushi. This is the first time in a long time since I have been able to taste the full flavor. From the smoke salmon, to the cream cheese, and even the black lightly toasted sesame seed. Something I don't get to experience often. Especially when it comes to sushi. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to grab some lunch. Five star

Low key Family owned spot in Franklin in the Kroger parking lot. Service was great and played music ideal for any audience. My wife and I ate the salmon teriyaki, great flavor. The rest of the people in the restaurant enjoyed the sushi. This is not a reservation or dress fancy place. Recommend if in the area.

I have been coming here for over 10 years and o can still say that Sakura has the best sushi period! Give me something better and i still wont believe it! The team delivers the best food and atmosphere I could ask for!

This has been my go-to sushi spot for 5 years now! Love that small local spot. The owners are great and keep busy every time I'm there. Great prices for great sushi!!
