Root and Barrel Kitchen - Franklin

Great food and really good cocktails. The rainbow trout is always cooked for perfection!

We had dinner Root Barrel before a show at the Smoky Mountain Performing Arts Center. Menu was vegetarian friendly. Design beer wine list very good. Our server, Grace, was great. A bit loud, but an excellent culinary experience.

The food was good, but our servers seem to move at warp speed, and we felt like we were getting a little out. We could also fill the bread basket again.

Great experience had a birthday party that made them a chocolate cake for the occasion was the best we had ever eaten. The staff is super schnapps beyond and beyond so that everyone has an extraordinary experience in the restaurant.

This was our first time here, and we'll be back. Love the fact that they feature local wine.
