Panera Bread - Franklin

This location has repeatedly been on the verge of disappointing the two times I have come here now. The service is slow and employees aren’t that friendly.First time I came here the service was extremely slow. We were waiting on a basic meal for two people for about twenty five minutes. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy. Mother in law was disappointed in her meal because it lacked flavor and appeal.Second time we went here which was Christmas Eve, it was surprisingly dead for lunch rush but yet at the same time it still took extremely slow. Customers ahead of me in line were taking forever to order and the cashier didn’t help because he was taking forever to process the order as well. I was just trying to grab my cookies I ordered from the kiosk because I thought that the cashier got them for me. Meal came out while waiting forever for the customers ahead of me and the cashier to finish. I ordered broccoli Mac and cheese with a chicken Caesar salad and they gave me broccoli soup instead. I was so tired of waiting I just gave up and ate it anyways. Mother in law waited forever just for a basic chicken chipotle pizza and they even called the family that was after her order before calling hers. I was already halfway done with my meal when she got hers that is how long it took. I watched them a little bit and there was no to-go orders on their screen nor were they throwing to-go bags on the counter left and right. There was no excuse for this extremely slow service. I understand it’s Christmas Eve and nobody wants to work but at least show some holiday spirit and work your shift properly.

This place is nasty. It’s filthy inside. There was a dead roach under our table. The food was gross and the silverware had sticky stuff all over it.

They were out of the chipotle sauce for the Frontega Chicken and the app asked me if I wanted a swap. I said signature sauce and it shows on my order. They forgot to put it on so super dry sandwich. Panera has no way to report messed up orders outside of calling the location which will do no good as they cannot refund mobile orders. This location also took THIRTY yes I said THIRTY minutes to get me a sandwich and 2 cups of Mac n cheese. I’ll be going next door to Gina’s next time and suggest you do the same.

I always love to eat at this Panera because I can sit outside or inside. They’re always really quick with my order. They are always friendly! My favorite is the Baja bowl and chips and I always get my .99 pastry lol… If you don’t have the sip club yet for 10.99 per month you’re missing out!

Really good tuna sandwich. Love the French onion soup! The clerk at the front counter was Fabulous! I believe her name is Sue.
