Old Chicago Pizza Taproom Franklin

Whenever my wife and I visit the opposite of Nashville, we always make it a point to enjoy at least one meal at Old Chicago. While we usually stick to pizza, we appreciate the wide range of food options they offer. It's a shame that our community in Collierville, TN—a suburb of Memphis—doesn't have an Old Chicago location.

Excellent food, a fantastic selection of beers, and outstanding service!

Around 6:35 PM, our order was only taken at 6 PM! Our server seemed either very new or just slower than molasses. While she was pleasant, she definitely didn’t seem to have a firm grasp on her role. She brought a whole tray of drinks, but one was missing for our table, and the others were intended for another table. Instead of sorting it out, she just placed the entire tray next to my daughter and delivered to the other table. Some of our review items were not meant for us, and we had to wait several more minutes until the manager came to remove them. We’ve definitely had better experiences at this restaurant. The food was as expected, but the ginger beer in the mule was quite flat.

The service has gone several times downhill. he waited for 35 minutes to eat and they were not very busy. I waited for an hour to get our food last time. If they had no great pizza, we wouldn't go back.

We love Old Chicago! Great for kids and their parents who like good beer and cocktails.
