Dixie Cafe - Franklin

As a note to the owner, the manager would be better suited for a different role. When my daughter went to pick up the correct order, they messed it up again. She could even hear them arguing in the kitchen. It seems like their jobs are too challenging for them, and perhaps they should find a new line of work.

Don’t be deceived by the exterior; it may look ordinary, but the interior is beautifully decorated and quite modern. This place offers a refreshing alternative to the typical fried food that dominates the area. While they do serve all the usual fried options, they also have delicious dishes like blackened chicken and a variety of vegetable options that are worth trying. The service was excellent as well.

I honestly don't think the food here is that impressive. The atmosphere and service are great, but the price for pre-made or frozen dishes seems excessive. The food isn't bad, but it's not exceptional either. We do eat here occasionally, but not frequently.

Wow, lots of tornado damage in this town but the cafe is open for lunch. Not to be confused with Johnny Rebs Dixie Cafe in Hearne: yelp.com/biz/johnny-rebs… This is the latest incarnation of an ever changing restaurant on main street here in Franklin. Mighty fine Texan food as always. Burger is great, Chicken fried Chicken is awesome. Perfection actually. Friendly staff.

Very clean restaurant. Great service! Sometimes you have to wait a little longer if their busy due to baseball teams/ basketball teams! Most of the time your food comes out very quickly! They DO serve coffee the menu says they don't serve breakfast. So if your looking for a good homemade chicken fried steak or chicken this is your place!
