Koenig Bistro & Bar - Frankfurt am Main

Good food but not super. Open till late night. I ordered Doner pizza which is not in the menu. It’s cost me 9€. The staff cooks the food without gloves :

Found this to be a very friendly place where all the staff who worked in it were very talkative and happy. It is not far from the main station in Frankfurt and according to the guy I was talking to, it is open until 6am!...It is a good bar and sells Warsteiner on tap. If you are checking into one of the nearby hotels around the area and want a good drink up, I recommend having a look in Koenig Bistro Bar, FF.

4 of us stopped in for dinner. Service was not great. The lady serving us came across as very abrupt. Only 3 meals were delivered to the table instead of 3. Maybe the 3rd meal was lost in translation. The meal size however was sufficient...for one of the couples to share a meal between them.

I have now a sort of an emotional attachment to this bar. I come here at least once a week or so for that after work beer with a friend, to let off some steam. This is the PERFECT bar for that experience. We know...the owner by now, who is a super nice and generous guy. Go there and grab a Guinness; you might get attached to it as well.

I was looking for something to eat at 1:30AM when I found this open. The place was not so clean I saw some flies landing on the dough while it was being prepared for me to eat later but I was hungry. The...4.5€ for a dürüm döner and 2,5€ for a Sprite that I was asked were in line with the establishment's degree of sophistication. What can I say? It was better than a sandwich from a machine, but that's the best I can say.
