So far, we have been to Gustav times in alone, both before and after Corona. Service is consistently great (with the sommelier/owner standing out), wine pairings are always superb and the food good-great, depending on the dish. In the current summer menu, ox...heart tomato, celery, and guinea fowl were awesome. Value for money was better pre Corona, but is still still good.
I was alone and requested the bright corner table, the restaurant accepted but arranged a 'working table for me (put wine, many wine glasses and menus on the table, just remained one-person dinning space), When I had my dinner, staffs came to my table taking...and putting stuffs frequently, made me felt annoying. When serving the dishes, it was normal speed in the beginning, then became so slow after the trout, I needed to wait minutes after every dish, it was not ideal waiting time. Regarding the flavour, trout, steamed rattling sponge, grilled cabbage and iced pumpkin impressed me; for the beef soup and grilled duck breast, meat was tender, but the entire dish was too salty.
