Mammy Chayo Mexican - Frankfort

I placed a large order for a party and realized after everything was distributed that the cheese used in our chicken tacos and quesadillas was spoiled. I contacted the restaurant to inform them and ensure they do not use it on other orders. The employee offered to make us new dishes, but we had already ordered enough to share. I suggested a refund instead. I also offered to bring back the items that did not meet quality standards. The employee I spoke with put the manager on the phone, who agreed with me. She claimed to have only eaten a taco and that the cheese was just opened. She did not want to listen to my concerns. I told them they did not have to do anything for me, but I believe they should check their ingredients and I no longer wish to visit their establishment. Thank you to restaurants like Amigos and My Taco for their quality service.

The waitress was great. that was terrible. it tasted like he had been sitting in a crockpot for days.

Tried Mammy Chayo last night for the first time- without question the best tacos I’ve had of any of our local Mexican restaurants. Steak burrito was really good, fish tacos on corn shells with cilantro and onion were were fresh and simple in the best way. Loved their red taco sauce as well. Picking up again tonight ?

Very friendly, but steak tacos were dripping in oil and salt.

Hands down the best Mexican food in the area! since moving out this way I've tried a couple different places, mammy chayo blows all of the others out of the water. definitely will be back. give them a try you won't be disappointed!
