Mami Monchitas - Frankfort

First time here and it made us so happy! The atmosphere is so homey the staff is so friendly and the food! We got the Honduran chicken salad sandwich the sauce is to die for, the pupusas were hearty, buttery and very fresh. The cabbage and onions were perfectly pickled and a nice addition to the dish. Also had the tacos de pollo similar to flaunts and fried very very good! We’ll be back

I couldn’t agree more with all the great reviews! The food and service was amazing. Angel was our server and explained not only the menu but the mission of the owner to give back to the people of Honduras. If I lived nearby I would be a regular!Food: 5/5

We had just finished at Buffalo Trace and wanted to let the Friday rush hour traffic dissipate. Well, this was an awesome respite. The peach Margaritas were great and a nice deviation from bourbon. I had the pupusas, my sons and husband had the enchiladas. There was nothing left on any of our plates. We enjoyed sitting outside to enjoy the early summer atmosphere. Our server was wonderful too! Would certainly return for the food, drinks and atmosphere.

The service is always amazing, the food is amazing. The yellow drink which is a fruit drink called Amarillo. And mojitos with bourbon instead of rum amazing. Marinated and very flavorful Steak filet mignon skewers, w/ fried plantain, beans and rice with chimichurri and pico de gallo. Canoas which is fried plantains w/refried beans, Honduran ma tequila cheese chismil on top with shredded chicken added. ? and finished dinner with Flan.

Great Honduran food with some of the best cocktails in Frankfort. They make everything fresh. Get the Maggie margarita, it's great.Food: 5/5
