Golden House - FRANKFORD

I recently moved to Frankford in May and have yet to see this restaurant open since then. According to Trip Advisor, more information is needed for a proper review. It's difficult to say much else about this place.

This restaurant is terrible. Save your money and toilet paper for when you get home. The service is just as bad as the food. The owners allow their unruly kids to run wild and there are old baby bottles lying around. In three words, do not dine here.

While passing through a small town, we decided to check out this restaurant for the first time. The food was delicious and the server was friendly. We ordered two dishes from the menu - the Chicken and Vegetables dish was particularly impressive with a generous amount of chicken, fresh mushrooms, and vegetables. I requested low salt and it was prepared perfectly. The portions were ample and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant was clean and cozy, which was perfect on a cold November day. I gave it four stars instead of five due to the decor, which could use some improvement. Despite this, we enjoyed our experience and would definitely return. They also offer a buffet with a 10-person reservation, which is a nice touch. This is not a chain restaurant.

This used to be my favourite Chinese restaurant but since new management took over food is not to my liking anymore. Will not be returning

New owners not as much on buffet at any given time (ie only small quantities of each item) may have to wait for some items
