Frankenmuth Brewery

The service was excellent, and they had a great selection of beers. We ordered two flights with 8 samples in total, as well as the Gorgonzola Pizza. Everything was delicious and we had no complaints. The prices were very reasonable, and out of the 4 other places we ate at during our stay, this was definitely the best. We will definitely be coming back again!

I have dined at Frankenmuth Brewery multiple times, too many to keep track of, and I would continue to visit because of their mascot and my love for Dachshunds. However, I would not return for the food. Despite owning one of their T-shirts, I must say that the food quality and service have declined over the years. During our first visit at Oktoberfest, the atmosphere was lively with men in lederhosen and women in traditional German attire singing and performing. The food was excellent at that time. Since then, I have visited on three other occasions and have noticed a decrease in taste, quality, and service, while the prices have remained the same. I will likely only come here for a beer or entertainment, as there are better dining options in Frankenmuth, such as Prost Wine Bar. Although I would give Frankenmuth Brewery a high score for Dachshunds alone, I believe they need to improve the quality of their food. Something has changed in that aspect, and it is disappointing.

It took an hour for our food to come out, and all four meals arrived cold. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. Even on the second attempt, one of the meals was still cold. The chicken breasts are frozen and tasteless, covered in a bland sauce. The pizza was okay, and the beer cheese soup was good once it was served hot.

Historically I have considered this brand only mediocre for MI breweries and would pass them over for others in stores. Visiting the Brewery was totally excellent! I enjoyed a wheat wine before realizing I was ordering off the to go menu, otherwise I wouldhave tried a flight. Still got beer to go too. AND everyone was super happy w/their food from Beef tips to Street tacos, andeven Vegan options!

Great location and beautiful inside area. Display of the brew house makes it look even better. Super service with a smile and eager to server. Our party of four enjoyed both the brews and the meals. Great place to stop and have lunch or dinner whilevisiting historic Frankenmuth located right on the river.
