Hometown Hotdogs - Framingham

My kids absolutely love this restaurant! We’ve always been pleased with the food. One of our favorite traditions is bringing the grandparents when they're in town. They’re longtime residents of Mattapan and grew up on Simcos, so they have a special fondness for this place as well.

I ordered two very basic hot dogs with just relish to go, expecting the great quality Simco's is known for. Unfortunately, when I opened the bag, I found two lukewarm, bland, waterlogged hot dogs in a flimsy bun that had gotten soggy. This was my first visit, and I was drawn in by the name, thinking hot dogs would be their specialty. However, the quality was even worse than a high school cafeteria. I won't be returning.
