King's Chef Diner Fountain

I had the Merl. I thought it was fantastic and the portions are excellent for the price. The only reason I didn't have 5 stars is because it's just cash. It is an inconvenience for some who need to carry cash, especially if the ATM has a fee of $2.75. The environment was great; many military and veterans as customers who made the family feel safe. The staff was attentive and the restaurant was clean.

The food was good. Service is very friendly. It should say at the door that this is a geld-only business. There's an atm, but there's a pretty big supplement to withdraw your money. The green chili is good, but really sharp. I was glad that the server allowed my husband and me to taste it before he ordered it. Also, they didn't really move to Sarge. It feels like it only swaps the water and not there for the long haul.

Can give 5 stars because they only accept cash. The staff was great and attentive. I had the French toast with one side of bacon. (I also sprinkled for real maple syrup) I enjoyed it. My better half had crushed the burrito in green chili. He also enjoyed it.

Hands down the BEST Green Chili in Colorado! This green Chili Burger was horrific, but... our waiter seemed to be forgotten by us because his employees had to pick up his difficulty! It keeps me from setting 5 stars. Other than that, the food never disappointed and the sweet tea is to die. Remember, bring cash as it is not a card joint! Otherwise there is an ATM:

Finally got to step foot inside the newly-opened King Chef's down here in security-widefield off of 85 87. Both are all great service an awesome atmosphere and amazing waitresses. They still take cash only like normal.
