Kokoro Sushi - Fountain Valley

Sit down sushi restaurant with table service and surprisingly good prices and really fresh fish and rice. Delicious udon noodles and amazing broth. A hidden gem here in Santa Ana.

Sushi was so bomb. Fair warning, if you are looking for a traditional sushi experience where the fish quality is the star of the show, this is not it. Not to say the food is not fresh, but most of the dishes are lathered in sauce and creamy ingredients, and we like in that way. We liked all the sushi we had, so just go with what you think is your favorite ingredients. I like that our waitress tells us the name of all the sushi that came out.

UPDATE2: They don't close as early now. UPDATE1: Minus 1 star because they usually close 20 minutes earlier than listed. The best sushi in town! Much better when dining in. Get the: -Creamy salmon sushi (so good! -Spider roll -Chubby lobster roll -Baked mussels (loaded with krab -Spiderman roll (yes, pineapple belongs on sushi -Miso soup or plum wine to wash it all down Room for improvement: -Carry specialty cuts Avoid rush hours like Friday nights at 6:30pm.

Very nice servers, big portions, and really tasty I grabbed special lunch plus very good prices for Bento

As a professional commercial flatbed driver... It is always nice to find a variety of dishes... My oldest daughter was able to me a week from Las Vegas, California to Washington and back...
