La Naiade - Fougères

We were in Fougeres for a day and checked out Trip Advisor for somewhere to lunch on a Sunday. We are delighted to have found La Naiade, a great restaurant that is unpretentious, and sells excellent food. It's all we wanted. Then the standard of service. We had given up on finding a place with a level of customer service that we know and love in Ireland, until here. The waiter was fast, efficient, friendly and capable. Briliant stuff. The food was fabulous, and very reasonably priced. It was just what we needed. Bravo.

This is a lovely little restaurant. Looks more like a fast food pizzeria at the very front but you walk through and the restaurant part is in the back plus there is a cute little outdoor area with half a dozen tables, lovely on a summer evening. Food and service both very good.

Situated in the square in front of Theatre Victor Hugo, this pizzeria is quite deceiving. It almost looks like a takeaway shop from the front. But you walk through the shop into the restaurant area situated at the back. There is even a section of outdoor seating in a small rear garden. The pizzas cost around €10 and the service is fast and efficient. I personally didn't think much of the decor (grey, green and pink is not my thing) but the restaurant was clean. At least it was open on Sunday, which is more than can be said for the majority of restaurants in this beautiful town.

We found this restaurant in Fougers when we had been to look round the castle.Staff very friendly and helped me with my school boy French ( some 52 years ago).The food was very good and the service was great it looks like a fast food from outside but has a good restaurant through the back

Karine Couldn't have been more helpful even though we arrived 20 mins before she opened. We were shown to our table with out delay and enjoyed our meal
