Starbird Chicken - Foster City

I frequently order from Starbird (though through a third-party service due to my company), and they usually serve great food. However, today I discovered what appeared to be a dragonfly in one of our salads, which was pretty disgusting. When I reached out to Starbird, they stated there was nothing they could do since we ordered through a third party. Regardless, I'll still be ordering from here, but I might skip the salads in the future.

The restaurant is quite good and convenient since it's close by. However, some of the chicken I had was a bit dry. While the overall quality seemed good, it felt overcooked, and the sauces helped mask that dryness. The service was quick and straightforward. I might return again someday, but it wasn't the best dining experience.

The chicken chop salad is outstanding! They have the best Tater Tots I've ever had (available on the hidden menu). The staff is incredibly polite, and your food is served quickly.

Jr Yelper picked up some chicken to try and brought it home. We had chicken wings, tenders and a chicken sandwich. We tried the Parmesan wings and found it to be nice and crunchy but not like regular fried chicken. The coating was more similar to rice flour. As if you breaded it with shrimp chips. I liked the Nashville chicken wing, not spicy at all and even better with the ranch dipping sauce. The chicken tenders was not so great. The coating reminded me of the Shake and Bake boxed coating you get at the supermarket. The tater tots were the same as if you bought packaged frozen Ore Ida tots, I would skip. The kale salad was bland. On a return trip, I would stick with the wings and skip the others. They opened a Starbird at the Corte Madera mall too.

Juicy chicken good match with their own recipe coleslaw , very delicious !
