I ordered the veggie eggs benedict with a side of extra crispy bacon, while my husband went for the biscuits and gravy, both were delicious. We will definitely be returning!
If you're on your way to Ferndale, don’t blink or you'll miss this hidden gem! Located just across from Fernbridge, this restaurant prides itself on using a variety of local, organic, and regenerative ingredients, and the cooking truly reflects the high quality of these ingredients. Even with this emphasis on quality, the prices are on par with other breakfast spots that rely on inexpensive, conventional ingredients. The staff is small, often with just one server, but don’t worry – just sit back, relax, and soak in the lovely atmosphere!
On a quiet Sunday afternoon, two women—possibly a waitress and the manager or owner—were managing the restaurant. They were warm and attentive throughout my visit, creating a pleasant atmosphere with no awkward vibes. The place has a vibe reminiscent of a more genuine Cracker Barrel. You can choose your own seating, and while the table settings are nice, they could use a bit of polishing. There were quite a few flies, which was a bit off-putting. However, don't let that overshadow the food; it was delicious and well-presented, and the prices were reasonable. I would love to see more gluten-free options that are fairly priced.
The food here is great! You won't find any opened can's because Everything is made from scratch. The only place I'll eat at for breakfast or lunch when I'm in town.
This was our second visit in a number of years. The staff, food and atmosphere is still great. A wonderful place to have breakfast and recharge. Certainly will be back if in the area again!
