Tributary Café - Fort Worth

We had an amazing lunch today.. loved the Cajun influenced menu items. The crab cakes were delish. I will also say my **** Mary was on point. We will be back!!

Yesterday, my family celebrated my great Aunt Faye's 85th birthday! She was incredibly surprised, and the service and food were truly exceptional! The day before, I called looking for a restaurant similar to Papadeaux's, and I stumbled upon a gem in Fort Worth! Molly helped me make arrangements for my elderly aunt and ensured that her colleague (who was covering for Molly on her day off) was ready to assist us. Ms. Joyce was our server, and she was friendly and efficient; her recommendations were perfect! Thank you, Ms. Joyce! The owner and the chef even came out to greet us! Our large party arrived a bit late due to the surprise, but every accommodation was met with professionalism! I wish I had taken pictures of the food, but it was so delicious that no one wanted to stop eating to snap a photo. From the best fried green tomatoes and okra I've had since my grandmother's cooking to the finest seafood gumbo, shrimp salad, and the heavenly bread pudding (which I devoured), it was an amazing meal that offered excellent value!

I’ve been wanting to try this place and see the new scene on Race Street. Great ambience and very friendly staff. Turned out to be owner’s sister and niece. Food was excellent. Maybe a thicker roux and more seafood in the gumbo, but the Shrimp Victoria and red beans and rice were superb. And any flavor of bottled Abita. I had two Turbodogs. I will be back. Nice to see that area of Fort Worth reinvent itself.

The gumbo was fantastic, and the fried green tomatoes and fried okra spears were delicious. Everything tasted really fresh, and the service was excellent! I hope they continue to thrive.

Great food and the service is great and personal. I highly recommend it.
