Old Chicago Pizza Taproom Presidio

That should depend on recommended old chicago pizza. I was in old chicago pizza presidio numerous paints and have always enjoyed eating, but have noticed that the service does not seem of a high priority. this visit was the least positive visit of the numerous paints I was. the negative experience started at our arrival. we asked a table on the south side of the restaurant to enjoy the sunshine. we said the waiter had enough tables and sat in the middle of the restaurant next to the bar. we ordered two entree salads and a pizza. waiting for our food was about average. when the food was delivered, one of the guests tasted the salat dressing (it was asked to have it on the side and it was. and was not sweeter than she wanted and asked for a balsamic vinegar. the waiter never came back with the dressing. After we had to wait 15 minutes, we found the waiter. a few minutes later it was delivered. when the dinner continued the temperature in the restaurant, cooled down to the point that we were unpleasant. the garage door was open at the bar and there was enough of a brise that in the evening it cooled, cool air in. we asked the server if the door could be closed. the server said she would ask the bartender. the door was not closed and there was no feedback on our request. I wrote a note about our bill along with my name and number and hoped to hear from management the next day. I haven't heard of anyone.

The beers here are often a bit sketchy. Most times there are several taps that are Tapped out . Which I could understand, but on a Friday evening? Taps should be full for a weekend I would think. Service is. Usually good. Tonight it was a bit off. Place is always noisy.

Great food, great place and wonderful staff, on our must go list

I have come here for lunch dinner many times. The food is great when it’s not busy. They struggle at all levels on Friday Saturday nights. I came on a Friday. I used open table to cut the wait time. I made a request for a booth it didn’t work, drinks and food took a long time, pizza was dry and our server was spreading too thin, we asked for extra napkins that come at the end of dinner.

We came from Boise 4 years ago where we have 2 of these. Our favorite restaurant! The Italian nachos and pepperoni rolls are our all time favorite! We booked this not knowing it was a soft opening. When we sat down to the minimized menu I was so sad that our Italian nachos were not offered. The waiters were all great. When we told the waiter we had been waiting for this to open just for my nachos he said not to worry and got me the nachos. I could not believe how great the managers and everyone were! Even with the limited menu for those 2 days our family of 4 still walked away full and amazed with the quality of the food! Awesome job! We often times will get the nachos and rolls and that will fill up all of us and we still enjoy their beer and drink menu. They have something for everyone! We will be back over and over again!
