Maria's Mexican Kitchen - Fort Worth

I had the chance to have lunch at this restaurant on Sunday and I must say, it was fantastic. The food quality, service, and ambiance were all top-notch. Kayla deserves a special mention for being extremely attentive to our needs. The only downside is that they are not very flexible with substitutions. If you're looking for a delicious Mexican meal in a wonderful setting, this is the place to go.

This restaurant is my family's go-to spot for Mexican cuisine in Fort Worth. It offers a more upscale dining experience, not your typical Tex-Mex fare. The drinks are great, and the chips and salsa are some of the best I've had anywhere. I have never been disappointed with anything I've ordered from their menu. The weekend brunch is especially delicious. The service and ambiance are top-notch. Just be aware that parking can be challenging, so be sure to plan ahead. I highly recommend making a reservation before heading over. The restaurant's parking lot is small, and parking in the Panera lot next door could result in a tow. The restaurant does not have a kids' menu, but my children have always enjoyed the regular menu options.

The food was ok, overpriced for what it is. The customer service wasn’t great at all. We didn’t make reservations and upon arrival they told us they could sit us down if we could be out within 55 minutes. We asked if the food took long they said no, so we agreed. The food took a bit long, it took forever to get our check and forever for them to take our payment. I wasn’t offered a refill either. We only got one side of rice and beans for our table. My husband was sent the wrong drink. It also doesn’t seem like they have set servers? After we ordered our appetizer another server came to offer us an appetizer, when we told her we had already ordered no one had put it to order.

On May 10, 2024, I chose this restaurant to celebrate my mother's special day, as her name is Rosa María. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the hostess who seated us at our table. We decided to try the Cancun salad, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. For dessert, we indulged in the delicious 5 milk cake.

One small complaint... no coasters or beverage napkins... otherwise fabulous!
