Best BBQ in dfw. brisket is the bomb and beef rib is so good

Family of 4 tried a selection of BBQ chicken, pork ribs, a beef rib, sausage and brisket to see how it compares to other premium BBQ places. I truly love BBQ, have tried many of the best places in Texas and I'm a hard critic. This place is way over rated. Most was average at best, mostly lacking in flavor. Brisket was the worst with about a third being pure fat. I thought it would at least be flavorful. Nope. It was also tough. Seems like a price of $120 for the meat portion would provide great tasting BBQ. Was there on a late Sunday afternoon, so I'm not sure if this was there usual, but we were disappointed. This place may survive in a touristy area where out of state tourists support it, but not in a place of locals with high expectations of real BBQ. Will not spend anymore of my money here. Premium price average BBQ.

We were in town from Canada and this is what we wanted , a true Texas BBQ pit with the best food ... so happy we stopped to eat there , the pit master is the best , the service is amazing. We highly recommend it !!
