Blackland Distillery - Fort Worth

A friend of ours brought us the Texas Pecan Brown Sugar Bourbon from Blackland Distillery during a trip to Australia, and we loved it so much that we decided to visit the distillery ourselves when we traveled to the US for a holiday. The staff were fantastic, and we learned a lot about the history of bourbon in the USA and the legacy of the distillery. Naturally, we couldn't resist buying a few bottles to take home. I highly recommend taking the tour and visiting the tasting room. I can't wait to return!

The cocktails here are excellent, but the tasting room is quite cramped. I'd suggest making a reservation if you want to avoid sitting on the awkward wall bench. They did manage to move us to a booth eventually, which allowed us to enjoy another round. Overall, I wouldn't necessarily recommend dropping by unless you're sure it won't be too crowded.

The atmosphere here is lovely, and the drinks are expertly crafted! The interior features a great design with a range of seating options, including booths, tables, and a bar. Both the bartender and host were friendly and very accommodating. The drinks were outstanding! I opted for a build-your-own gin and tonic, and it was fantastic. I highly recommend this place for a drink!

My husband and I really enjoyed the tour and tasting experience. The gentleman that gave the tour was very welcoming, knowledgeable and funny! Our cocktail the Dreamsicle Fizz was very tasty! Loved the TEXAS PECAN BROWN SUGAR BOURBON and bought a bottle to take home. The presentation of the tastings were great and can’t say enough about how friendly and engaging the staff was with everyone! To top it off the place is stunning inside! Highly recommend trying it out!

Nice comfy, quiet and dark atmosphere. Great service. We tried the experimental flight of gin, rye and bourbons. The 100 proof rye was fantastic.
