Al Dente Italian Trattoria - Fort Worth

In any case recommend! I use real Italian cuisine, in italien pasta and pizza are the best! So this place really deserves 5 stars. the first time since I came to usa, I eat delicious pasta! small beautiful restaurant with good quality!?

Mediocre. I had to order three times, because they had no intentions. shrimp alfredo was bland, tortellini was not as described and service was eh it was very concentrated on the arrangement of silverware (1/2 tables there.) the atmosphere was depressing, rock music in the background. over price for the area, service and atmosphere.

Was not impressed, the pasta was simply in order. I had the captivating alfredo with huh, and the huh was in the smallest pieces. our server pointed out that there was a bun in it and I could not see it yet. the meat balls that my father did not seem homemade, as if it were bought a load. the server seemed very quiet and not busy with us as a customer. they also don't take American express, rip.

This is not a place to go from them, looking for a beautiful dinner. probably better for lunch. the atmosphere is more like a deli with bright lights and rock music. it was not bad, but it was missing taste. no spices in eating. service was sufficient. byob.

Decided on Al Dente for before going to the theater at Bass Hall. Just a few block walk, so no problems. This restaurant has only 6 tables plus a counter, so make reservations if you expect a seat. Also, no liquor license so bring your own wine. They charge no fee for opening. My wife and I found this to be an excellent little spot. Nice enough ambiance and excellent service. Plenty to select from on the menu, but not extensive. Pasta seems to be the thing here as most dishes are pasta. The sauces we tried were excellent on our Pasta Al Dente (Gorgonzola) and Tortellini Alla Amatriciana (pink). Bread served with entrees. We also started with the Caesar Salad, which was huge and easily fed two, and the Bruschetta which was light and very fresh. Service was very caring and attentive. You can tell this is a family run restaurant. At tis price and quality , seems like an ideal date night place. We will return.
