Fortezza Coffee - Fort Wayne

Nice coffee job in the heart of downtown. It was a few minute walk from my hotel, reviews and prices seemed good so I wanted to check it out. The staff was friendly, the decor was perfect for a coffee shop. I was a bit disappointed with the oatmeal as I'm pretty sure it was from a packet and heated in the microwave. The coffee was ok, I didn't like that they didn't have half and half out so you could add your own; they do it for you.

A friend I came here while I was visiting from out of town. I had a drip coffee strong, bold flavor. She had a chai tea latte I took a sip and it was a good balance of spicy sweet. There is a decent amount of seating and I enjoyed the vibe. Would definitely come back next time I’m visiting!

My common roll was great! Warm, soft, and a good size. My hot chocolate was different. I'm not sure if they use milk or water for hot chocolate, but the good thing is that it's not scalding hot when you get it! The store itself is cozy, and the chairs are actually comfortable. Tap-to-pay is available and did work for me.
