Old Bay Steamer - Fort Walton Beach

Very bad experience..crab stuff mushrooms come out stone cold. Salad was hot. Ordered filet and lobster. Worst filet I’ve ever had. Like chewing leather. I’ve had sirloin that was better. Lobster was good. Manager discounted our meal so thankful for that. Server did great

Saw the reviews and decided to come. We were not disappointed. The eclectic environment was unique. Great music was playing, and the food, drinks, and service were all great. The waiter was entertaining and fun. We will definitely return!

We tried dinner tonight and my wife ordered the tuna appetizer and it was excellent. My son I both ordered fresh catch of the day blackened grouper. It was fresh caught in the Publix 's frozen section and heated up in the microwave. You had to forcefully cut it with the fork to eat it. It was tasteless. I 've been vacationing here for 30 years and this is the worst fish I 've had. The salad was family style and delicious. The waiter was good. The atmosphere was good.

Some of the reviews classify this as a warehouse building which couldn’t be further from reality. An upscale building just off the beach with jazz themed decor, Old Bay Steamer is our new Walton Beach fave. Impeccable service, great cocktails…try their version of an Old Fashion….and exceptional seafood. The king crab was the BEST!

The building/curb appeal is not fabulous but the restaurant was recommended so we continued in. The inside is somewhat quirky but interesting. We were not disappointed. The food was great and our server, Matt, may have been the best server we’ve ever had. We will be back!
