Lotus Thai - Fort Walton Beach

Around noon, the restaurant was quite crowded with many people ready to eat, which I took as a good sign. However, one thing that bothered me was the lack of clean tables. I noticed seven empty tables, yet none were cleaned during the 20 minutes I waited. That felt a bit off. Despite the price confusion, the papaya salad was fantastic! I would have liked it more if I had paid the right amount, but it was delicious—just the right level of spiciness. It was hands down the best papaya salad I’ve had in a while. I also appreciated the choice of how my tofu was cooked in the red curry, allowing me to choose between baked or soft—a nice touch I haven’t encountered before! The red curry with tofu had a lot of lemongrass flavor, which I enjoyed, although I prefer my red curry creamier with more coconut milk, and this one was less creamy than I like—though that’s just a personal preference. Overall, it was still very good. I couldn’t eat much because I was so full from the papaya salad, but I’m glad I have leftovers for dinner later. I’ll definitely return, especially since it’s close to my workplace. The menu has plenty of options to explore, and I can’t wait to try more!

Absolutely delicious! I had the pleasure of dining here for the first time and ordered the Pad Ped Tofu. It was, without a doubt, some of the best Thai food I've ever tasted! The flavors were incredibly fragrant and rich. Next time, I definitely plan to go for something spicier! YUMMMM!

The service was truly excellent, and the food was quite tasty. The eggs were particularly impressive!
