Julie's Southern Joy

The Southern food is absolutely delicious! I had the chicken tetrazzini, roasted chicken, and baked chicken, all served with potatoes, gravy, and mac and cheese. The cookie is incredibly soft and melts in your mouth. If I could, I would eat there every day of the week. Each dish costs $10 without a drink, but it's definitely worth it!

The food here is fantastic—everything tastes incredibly fresh and the portions are generous. I ordered the chicken, which was tender and juicy, and the bread had a delightful crispness packed with flavor. The macaroni and cheese was authentic and cooked to perfection. The fried okra was cooked just right, delivering a wonderfully crunchy texture—though it was a bit oily, the taste was still superb. And I can't forget to mention the cookies! They were incredibly fluffy and delicious; I even ended up breaking off pieces to share with my lunch companions. This mall restaurant truly stands out, and I’d love to see it evolve into a full-fledged dining establishment. Plus, the service was outstanding! The young man who assisted me was both friendly and efficient.

My six-year-old always insists on eating at Julie’s. She adores the Saturday special, which features homemade chicken, potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese, and fresh cookies. We appreciate the homemade meals, and the staff is always friendly and kind. It’s great to have this option in the mostly empty mall. I really hope there’s enough foot traffic to keep Julie’s in business.
