Ms Kerry-Ann Smiley was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in making sure our stay was both comfortable and a memorable one. This was our first time booking with Holiday Inn and our first Vacay/Family Reunion in over 10 years. Well she far exceeded our expectations for location of the room, cleanliness and customer service. Kudos to the staff. We will be back! We can’t wait to share photos and experiences while staying at the Holiday Inn Resort on the beautiful Emerald Coast and Okaloosa Island with our family and friends.Noteworthy details: This Resort does not disappoint. I would definitely recommend booking here whenever you are traveling to the Emerald Coast. Great service, hot breakfast and beautiful location with the absolute best views!

We are IHG members and were able to use a rewards night here. We would never pay $350 or more to stay here. The attendant during check-in was extremely friendly and accommodating! Great ocean view! Rust on the floor lamp and door to patio. Office chair torn and missing fabric.

Came from a bad hotel just down the way that was about the same price as this one. The difference was heavenly. As we had only reserved our room the night before, it wasn't quite ready when we arrived. Even though we had come hours before regular check-in, they allowed us to begin using the facility immediately. We opted to dip in the pool. I lounged in a pool chair and watched as a woman put on a bubble show for the kids present. It was a delightful welcome. We were then allowed into our room early and unexpectedly given a waterfront view. Instant access to the beach was the best part but a close second was the breakfast. We were late, but that highlighted the service we were given. I only wanted coffee and a pastry, so I wasn't charged. My sister ordered the buffet and was impressed with everything. Our waitress went out of her way to accommodate us and someone noticed my sister eyeing the empty biscuit tray, so they made fresh ones just for her even though breakfast was technically over. And those biscuits were genuinely the best we've ever had. It was a stormy morning but the customer service brightened our day. A cook even apologized about the weather! I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the place, while appreciating the high standards of cleanliness and service.

Upon arrival, I was helped by Lauren who was very friendly and helpful. Waking up to an ocean view was everything. The stay exceeded my expectations. We definitely will be returning for future stays. HIR is a must stay, so book now!

We had a great time at the Holiday Inn Resort Fort Walton Beach. The hotel was very nice and had great amenities (kids eat free!! ; and the staff was amazing! We did have one hiccup, with a not so great room when we checked in, but David the front desk was able to get a better room the very next morning! We will definitely be back!!
