Roustabout's Restaurant & Bar

Been here twice recently once for a girls night (after having to leave another restaurant due to no service at all) and once for family dining.

I was in Fort St John for work and stopped here one night for dinner.__Really disappointed with the Roustabout salad.

Roustabouts is haunted by the ghosts of restaurants past.

Roustabouts was nice & close to our hotel so we wandered down for dinner as it had good reviews. Staff were friendly & we were quickly seated & offered drinks. I had the seafood chowder, really good. The man had the salmon with vegies & a baked potato, also really good. His potato was not very warm so another one was bought out for us. We shared some sliders, also good. The deserts didn't appeal to me, deep fried mars bar, no thanks. But we were both really happy with our food.

I usually never think about roustabout because their marketing isn't strong. I went with friends upon their suggestion and enjoyed the meal a lot. The servers were friendly and quick. The only draw back is they close early so the try to get you out sooner then you might want to leave. Maybe if they marketed they would be busier and be able to stay open later. Great place otherwise.
