Doe's Eat Place - Fort Smith

Real good but real expensive. Nice atmosphere but there are never many customers. The salad and steak are to die for and there is plenty of leftovers for eating at home tomorrow.

Better Than Greenville!. Now THIS is what I expect Doe's to be, even though my comparative is the original in Greenville, MS. Even though I almost felt we were eating in the wine cellar, I love the atmosphere of this Doe's. The steaks were just as good, although still pricey, and I believe a very comparable steak can be had much cheaper. I did like the fact that I had a choice of salad dressings... not so at every Doe's. I can imagine a cheaper steak being had around here, but not a better one.

Best Steak!. For my Texas friends dining at Three Forks, Ruth 's Chris, Land and Cattle...my fillet at Doe 's just might be THE best steak ever! The Iowa bred, 21-day aged beef was broiled to medium-rare perfection with that nice little crisp on top. 2+ ' thick, 8oz $36. Juicy and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Do not miss the mushrooms broiled in wine butter. Arrived at 5:30 and were seated right away although most people call ahead for reservations since they fill up quickly. The restaurant itself is in an old German brewery. Great atmosphere.

Great steaks, great atmosphere. Great steaks! Call ahead and reserve a King's fillet. They have a limited number each day and you don't want to mess around with a sirloin(they are good but not nearly as good as a fillet). The fried bread with honey is like eating backwards. You will feel like you started with desert. The old brewery building is the perfect atmosphere and we like sitting in the old root cellar, but any seat will do. Doe's is a very casual feel, from the plastic plates and glasses to the attire. Casual prices, not so much, but worth it. We split the King's fillet between two and it's just right. If you are alone, go with the Queen's.

This place is great ,how can u say it's overpriced when u can split a 2lb delusions steak and both get sides salad and biscuits for fourty five dollars ,folks in case u didn't know that's cheaper that two poeple eating less food for the same if not more money,if u added up the worse chillis sirloin (worse cut) it would be a lot more than fourty five bucks for two pounds,great meal and great deals ,and the waiters aren't bad just very personable and laid back just like the atmosphere when u walk in the door
