Boondocks - Fort Smith

I ordered the Mediterranean chicken salad and fried pickles. The salad was VERY fresh, and delicious. Even the cherry tomatoes were delicious (I?m very picky about tomatoes and often don?t eat them because of being picky. The fried pickles are chips, with light, seasoned breading. Yummy!

I just ate here and not only was the food very, very good. My waitress Renee gave me the red carpet treatment. She was patient with us with the menu because we haven't been here before, so it took a little while for us to order. When asking her questions about how much food was an item to was the gumbo spicy. She never hesitate and gave me an accurate detail on what I would expect if I order a particular item. Most of the time in life nowadays when it comes to reviews, people are quick to complain. This review is far from that! Thanks Renee, it was a pleasure!

Everything I had was delicious. Hushpuppies had a nice spice to them, fried apples were sweet, sweet potato I added honey and was delicious. Chicken was hot and juicy. Only thing was understaffed so took forever to get food.

The first time we visited boondocks a few months ago they had fantastic food and it was good size helpings. This time we weren't impressed. The food was average and portions were smaller and less tasty. It lost it's zing.

The Cajun Corn was delicious. Stevie is very friendly server, checked on us several times, everything was great. Can't wait to come back.
