Taqueria La Marea - Fort Shafter

We were looking for something authentic and not too expensive. We came across this place and we were not disappointed. The parking is a little difficult but the food is worth it. The employee at the front who took our order was so nice and gave his recommendations which were so delicious. I've attached some of our order so you can see just how delicious this food looks! We will recommend this place to everyone!

The food tasted amazing. We ordered 3 tacos two with pork and one with carne asada and oh my good ness it was sooooo goood. I have always wanted to find a good Birria spot and I finally have the consommé was delicious the meat was soft and so juicy full of flavor. I personally don't like beans but I gave theirs a try and I loved it. If you have left over consommé put your beans and rice inside and just devour it all. Definitely so excited to go again and try more food ughh. The staff was so sweet and so helpful. The place looks very cute and so authentic. The owner and her daughter is so so sweet as well. Please give them a try you will not be disappointed trust me it's sad to not see so much people going in but I hope this review helps out please go.

Dang! I never thought I would find amazing Mexican food like this here on Oahu! The flavors are on point and the consomé reminded me of back home in New Mexico. This is the spot and real deal. Food for champions!??

So far this is the best Mexican restaurant I've found on island. I've been there a couple times and it never disappointed. I love their pork belly tacos and their elote, so delicious! They also have amazing agua frescas!!!
