Mad Max Kitchen - Fort Qu'Appelle

We enjoyed the sunshine on the deck in the evening. It is simple dining-cans of pop with a straw, plastic cutlery, no tablecloths, picnic tables and tables and chairs. The server was very friendly and served us well. We had a basket of nachos and a burger and fries, and a can of pop each.There was music playing, a little loud, on the deck.

Although the food is not too bad(satisfactory) the service leaves a lot to be desired. We sat on the deck. Server took our order and literally disappeared. No refills on drinks....food took a long time to be ready and once again the server dropped off order and did not return. When it was time to pay we went indoors and called...a staff member came from outside in the back? It was as if we were forgotten. As for the food, it is ok for a snack.

Iv been twice and each time the man who takes your order informed us it's just a fish and chip kind of place. I thought that was kind of cute as that's why we went . The decor is interesting I love it. Outside is nice on the deck it's like sitting under sails. It's fenced so your not seeing the traffic.Menu is simple but good tacos,wraps fried food . It's served in a basket with a few different condiments that he makes himself from organic sources. There is a good choice of beers wines and such.Friendly place quick service.

Took a friend there this past Sunday to celebrate a birthday.Fun waiter (was told he was the "Mad" of "Mad Max"... very friendly, very fun and very good service.Food (we all went with the burgers) was great - real homemade burgers with hormone free beef, and homemade chips.Great price. Clean bathroom. All good.

Nothing fancy...more of a concession type food. Ok to have a few munchies with friends..not what I would classify as a restaurant.
