Steak 'n Shake - Fort Oglethorpe

Can't eat n only drive thru if I'm going to eat out we like eating n

It was not at all what I expected when I thought of eating at steak and shake. We were the only customers in the building the entire time we were there. There is no table service at this location. Everything is self serve. You order at the counter like you would at a fast food place. You make your drinks and have a sear while you wait on your food. When cooked they call your name and you go back to get your food. After you finish eating you clean up behind yourself. I thought I would be able to go in and have someone wait on us. When we got our food it was extra greasy. They were playing 50-60s music which did give it that diner feel but it was a little too loud to be able to have a decent conversation. Overall just not what I expected of a steak and shake.

Usually a great place to grab a good burger but not so great today. I ordered single w cheese and bacon, no bacon and meat was not hot. I also ordered 2 cheese sauces and only got one. So I paid extra for bacon and cheese sauce I didn't get. If money wasn't so tight it would not be a big deal. But with today's prices u would think the business would encourage their employees to make sure we atleast get what we paid such a high price for.

For a fast food place this is pretty great. Gotta try to go there more often.

Spent 42 dollars and they were soo greedy on the amount of chilly they put in our bowls.
